About Acoustic Consultants

Stephen Peliza formed Acoustic Consultants Limited in 1987 after a career working for small and large consultancy firms addressing building acoustics and noise from building services. Seeing a need in the market for specialist noise and acoustic only consultancies, Stephen started his own firm with the aim of providing high quality, independent and pragmatic advice to architects, contractors and developers.

Since 1987 the company has grown and developed with the times. The practice is now in its 30th year of trading and employ a mixture of young and experienced acousticians who advise in a wide spectrum of noise and acoustics. We have consultants based in Bristol, Manchester and West Wales who are well positioned to cover projects across the entire of the UK.  We use modern equipment, computer modelling and our over 80 years of combined knowledge to assist with all your acoustic queries.

We currently employing eight full time acousticians who are members of the Institute of Acoustics and an office manager. We also have a team of ANC accredited technicians and regularly provide undergraduates with valuable work experience.
