Sandfields Colts Under 10's Sponsorship
To celebrate our increased presence in South Wales and Swansea we are pleased to be sponsoring Sandfields Colts Under 10’s football club. The Sandfields Colts are a children’s football club in the Swansea area.
The club have teams ranging from Under 5’s through to Under 18’s. The club is in its 11th year and has 17 teams, across 11 age groups, each with their own training sessions and match fixtures.
The team is supported by the Sandfields community, local businesses and keen football fans who wish to encourage the team development over the early years. These early years are key to developing the skills and techniques which with any luck they can incorporate into their game in the future.
The Under 10’s play a tournament structure across the year with typically 3 games per tournament. The under 10’s are coached by Carl Bartram and under his direction they had a successful season last year. The team won 3 of the 6 tournaments in the 2016-1017 season.
So far this season the team have had a great start to the season. The boys have been playing lovely passing football and great link up play. They comfortably beat Mumbles 6-0, West End 10-1 and Talycopa 1-0.
We are really pleased with the performance and attitude shown by the boys and proud to be their sponsors for the 2017-2018 season. We hope they have a successful season but more importantly we hope they continue to enjoy the game, develop new skills and friendships.
The sponsorship of an Under 10’s football team compliments the work we undertake for noise assessments for sporting uses. These assessments range from football, hockey and rugby on Multi Use Games Areas (MUGA) and Artificial Grass Pitches (AGP) for communities, schools and universities to indoor go karting arenas.
We are the key technical advisor to Sport England on noise from AGP’s and as such have considerable experience in this area. So please get in touch if you wish any sporting use noise control advice.
