Job Title:     Acoustic Consultant


The Company:

Acoustic Consultants Limited was formed in 1987 and has become well established and respected within the sector. We are recruiting to support our continued growth in all fields of noise, acoustics and vibration.

We work on all schemes within the Educational, Healthcare, Offices, Cultural, Laboratory, Residential and Mixed-Use Sectors. This includes planning, acoustic design, completion testing and noise, vibration and dust monitoring.

Within the company we aim to provide everyone with experience in all aspects of noise, vibration and acoustics so the work of the successful candidate will enable knowledge and continued progression.

Bristol (alternative locations considered, subject to experience).

The Bristol Office is located within the Bedminster/Southville area of Bristol with good transport links to all areas of the City and excellent options for socialising outside of work.

The Role:

We are looking for experienced candidates who can quickly develop into undertaking all aspects of Environmental Noise, Building Acoustic and Vibration with the support of the company. The role for this candidate will involve working on all types of schemes from Schools to Hospitals, Environmental Noise, Vibration and Dust through to Building Regulations Advice. You will quickly develop into leading your own projects from planning through to completion.

The successful candidate will be required to liaise with clients independently, manage and be responsible for their own projects from planning through to completion and on schedule.  The candidate should be driven, with a proven record of providing comprehensive and successful advice, and eager for career development.


  • Institute of Acoustics Membership, AMIOA or MIOA.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • A full Driving License.
