The Company:

Acoustic Consultants Limited was formed in 1987 and has become well established and respected within the sector. We are recruiting to support our continued growth in all fields of noise, acoustics and vibration.

We work on all schemes within the Educational, Healthcare, Offices, Cultural, Laboratory, Residential and Mixed-Use Sectors. This includes planning, acoustic design, completion testing and noise, vibration and dust monitoring.

Within the company we aim to provide everyone with experience in all aspects of noise, vibration and acoustics so the work of the successful candidate will enable knowledge and continued progression.

Location:

Bristol (Head Office)

The Bristol office is located in Bedminster with good transport links to all areas of the city and excellent options for socialising outside of work.

The Role:

The work will be a mix of environmental, architectural and building acoustics projects. This will involve undertaking noise impact assessments, providing building acoustic advice, building services advice, environmental noise monitoring, vibration assessments, post construction testing, noise modelling, data analysis and report writing.

The role will be based on your level of experience on projects in the fields of Acoustics, Noise and Vibration.

The successful candidate will be required to liaise with clients and independently manage and be responsible for their own projects through to completion and on schedule.

Essential:

  • A degree in acoustics / a related subject, or Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
  • A proven record of problem solving, report writing and analysing noise data.
  • Ability to manage projects and their time efficiently.
  • Full Driving License is required.
