Harris Invictus Academy, Croydon

Harris Invictus Academy Croydon was opened in September 2014 because of the significant demand in the community for new, high-quality school places. In achieving their aims, they are building on the success of the three other Harris Academies in Croydon.

​Ofsted calls all three of these schools ‘Outstanding’.

Acoustic Consultants Limited were appointed by Galliford Try Construction to provide detailed noise and acoustic design advice and testing. We supported the Architect and design team in providing advice to ensure compliance with the Acoustic Performance Standards (APS)/ Building Bulletin 93 (2014) and BREEAM 2014 – Hea 05.

Harris Invictus Academy in Croydon was designed by Scott Brownrigg. The development was a Building Magazine Project of the Year Finalist. The Project of the Year Award is one of the most competitive categories, open to all building types. The projects are judged on on design, sustainability, innovation, construction performance, procurement and teamwork with the client.
