A £30 million, new build 9FE secondary school for the ESFA in South London
The Archbishop Lanfranc Academy was designed to meet the Building Regulations requirements of Building Bulletin 93, the EFSA Facilities Output Specification and BREEAM credits HEA5 and POL5.
The acoustic design was required to be achieved within the overall structural frame and requirements for exposed thermal mass resulting in the use of acoustic light fittings and acoustic islands within the teaching spaces.
