We specialise in building acoustic design and cover all areas of acoustics and noise control, from residential design, open plan office design, school design, mechanical ventilation design.
We can support your project through all the RIBA stages of development and design.
At the early stage of your project, typically RIBA 2 or 3, we can produce an acoustic strategy report to guide the designer in their system sections.
At the coordination or technical design stages (RIBA 3 and 4) we can assist in providing detailed design advice for all elements of the building ranging from sound insulation, rooms acoustics, external noise intrusion and building services design review.
We also provide advice and documentation for design and build tender bids and developing the design and build design with the nominated contractors. We specialise in Value Engineering to ensure the required performance standard is met without an over design. This Value Engineering services is supported by our database of thousands of real life tests for all buildings and construction types, along with our considerable experience in specialist acoustic software such Insul, CATT and Cadna:A.
Our building acoustic projects include providing successful assessments, advice and testing for Approved Document E, Building Bulletin 93 (BB93), British Council for Offices guidance (BCO), BS8233 and BREEAM/WELL/LEED.
