Office acoustics are not normally considered as a first thought.
We would advise this is considered at an early stage of a scheme’s development as poor acoustics within an office can result in limited privacy, speech intelligibility and disruptive building services noise.
We have provided successful advice on many offices, from small local companies to international companies. Using in-house software, Cadna:A and CATT we can accurately model and advise on the acoustic aspects of an office development. This modelling and assessment can be used as part of a planning and BREEAM submission or as a bespoke design report to aid the client in the detailed design.
We are currently advising on the new Lidl Head Office in London and have also recently advised on the BREEAM ‘excellent’ office for Hitachi Capitol in Trowbridge.
As with all our schemes, we provide our advice in clear and concise reports to aid the design and for submission, where necessary, by the client.
